Getting Ready for Tourmakeady

The Rise and Fall of Little Voice was wonderful. Lots of friends were able to see it at Theatre WIT. I expect the No Stakes Theatre Project will do great things in Chicago. I learned a great deal about non-verbal communication on stage with other actors. I received some very nice reviews which I’m adding to my news page.

So now it’s back to the play, “The Cheek” by Jim Lynch that we performed at The WIP Theatre in April to overflow crowds. We are performing it again at Gaelic Park in Oak Forest on September 26th and then back to The WIP in Edison Park for four performances, October 1-4. On the 7th of October we all leave for Tourmakeady, County Mayo, Ireland to perform at Mare Luke’s. Tourmakeady is well-known for its hospitality and the beauty of its setting. Jim Lynch wrote The Cheek with this town in mind. Jim Ronan, Vera Kelly, and Jim Lynch are from the area and they have many friends and family coming to the show.
